In use the aperture occasionally sticks causing the camera to produce an Error 01 message. The aperture will sometimes unstick by turning the camera on and off and then firing again. The sticking of the aperture can also be avoided by shooting the lens wide open. Due to this inconsistent nature of this fault the lens is being sold for spares or repairs.
