The Intel Core i7-12700 (LGA 1700) is a 12th gen Intel® Core™ i7 CPU designed for demanding gaming and content-creation workloads, offering 12 cores (8 Performance-cores + 4 Efficient-cores) and 20 threads to balance single-threaded speed and multithreaded throughput.
Clocked up to a 4.9 GHz turbo (performance-core boost 4.8 GHz) and with a performance-core base of 2.1 GHz and efficient-core base of 1.6 GHz, the i7-12700 delivers responsive performance across applications while keeping a nominal base power of 65 W and a maximum turbo power of 180 W.
